Punjab: Former deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today completed his 10-day religious punishment by performing seva at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Muktsar town for the second consecutive day. Sukhbir will perform ardaas at the Akal Takht on Friday. Sukhbir was sitting on a wheelchair as a sevadar at the entrance of the gurdwara due to a fracture in his leg. He was dressed in a blue robe, wore a plaque with Gurbani verses around his neck and held a spear in his hand. A large number of security personnel and party workers were present around him. Several Akali leaders, including Sukhbir, party’s acting president Balwinder Singh Bhunder, former ministers Daljit Singh Cheema, Sucha Singh Langah, Heera Singh Gabdia and Gulzar Singh Ranike, also performed seva by cleaning utensils in the langar hall.
