Punjab News: Punjab Police has busted a major interstate opium smuggling network operating from Jharkhand. Police arrested two drug dealers of this gang and seized 66 kg of drugs. Punjab Police gave this information on Friday. “Some,” Police Commissioner Gaurav Yadav said on social media. He said, after arresting these two smugglers, the police closely monitored their financial transactions and blocked transactions worth Rs 1.86 billion in 42 bank accounts.

Punjab Police has arrested three people with 9.2 kg of heroin in Amritsar. Giving information in this regard, DGP Punjab Police wrote on social media PS Cheharta that they have arrested two drug smugglers from Shiva Enclave area of ​​Amritsar district. In the second incident, PS Ranjit Street arrested a drug smuggler and recovered one kg of heroin. In both the cases, FIRs have been registered under the NDPS Act and investigation is underway to establish forward and backward links.
