Punjab: Amidst the ongoing Indigo crisis in India, the Punjab government has set up a 24×7 control room at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport to assist passengers and ensure there is no chaos.
Punjab’s Secretary (Civil Aviation), Sonali Giri, held discussions with airport authorities, CISF, and airline companies to manage the situation. The control room has been established in the Duty Terminal Manager’s office to provide real-time information and assistance regarding refunds and rescheduling, baggage delivery, and flight updates.
She stated that teams are monitoring flight operations, delays, cancellations, and baggage-related issues to ensure timely assistance and updates. For any assistance, people can contact 95010-15832 or register their complaints on the airport’s official social media handles, particularly @ixcairport.
