Punjab: Dhindsa in favor of strengthening the regional party

Punjab: Rebel Akali leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa today performed seva at the historic Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib as directed by the Akal Takht. He stood guard at the langar hall and washed utensils. Dhindsa said he was serving as a humble Sikh. He wants to retire from active politics in view of his advancing age and health problems. He said regional party SAD should be strengthened. He supported the farmers’ agitation and urged the Centre to start talks and accept their demands.
