Punjab: Computer teachers burn copies of AAP’s ‘promises’
Punjab: Agitating computer teachers today burnt copies of promises made to them by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ministers during the last over two years on Lohri ki Holi outside the District Administrative Complex here. They also raised slogans against the state government for not fulfilling their demands, including transfer of computer teachers from Punjab Information and Communication Technology Education Society to Education Department, Punjab. Meanwhile, the relay hunger strike of two computer teachers entered the 135th day today, while the indefinite hunger strike of a computer teacher, Ranjeet Singh, entered its 11th day. The computer teachers have been agitating outside the DAC here since September 1, 2024.
