Punjab: Abohar police arrested five people for stealing electronic gear from a mobile tower in Kundal village. The accused have been identified as Ajay Kumar, Lovepreet Singh, Rohit and Danveer, residents of Chuhdiwala Dhanna, Sita Ram, resident of Said Wala village and Lovepreet, resident of Panjpeer colony. Complainant Satnam Singh, resident of Tappa Kheda, said that on September 25, some miscreants stole electronic parts from the mobile tower. Assistant Station House Officer Om Prakash arrested the accused during patrolling near Said Wala village and recovered the stolen parts. Police produced the accused in the court, from where they have been taken on three-day remand.
