Punjab: 457 cases were settled through mediation and mutual consent during the National Lok Adalat organised at Sangrur Judicial Complex today. Awards worth Rs 7,83,90,517 were passed in respect of 457 out of 890 cases by four benches comprising Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) Roopa Dhaliwal, Civil Judge (Junior Division) Vishwa Gupta, Civil Judge (Junior Division) Jinder Singh and Civil Judge (Junior Division). About 4,446 cases related to the Revenue Department in Malerkotla, Amargarh and Ahmedgarh sub-divisions were settled in the Lok Adalats held in the respective sub-divisions today.
