Punjab: Police raided a hotel located opposite the inter-state bus terminals in Sri Ganganagar last night and arrested 15 people including 10 women on charges of immoral trade. Investigation revealed that the hotel owner had called some women from Punjab and Haryana. Assistant Superintendent of Police (city) B Aditya said that the raid was conducted on the information of Mahila Thana Incharge Inspector Jyoti Nayak. Nayak said that the hotel operator used to call girls from outside and make them available to customers for sex. Rs 4700 cash and condoms have been recovered from the counter. A case has been registered against the accused under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act in the Mahila Thana. Earlier also some people were arrested from the hotel for similar crime.
