Projects stalled during the DMK regime will be revived: C.V. Shanmugam

Tamil Nadu: MP C.V. Shanmugam stated that all projects initiated during the AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu and stalled by the current DMK government will be re-implemented once the AIADMK government is formed.

The AIADMK District Student Council meeting was held at a private wedding hall in Villupuram on Friday.

The meeting was chaired by District Student Union Secretary N.G. Sakthivel. City Secretary R. Pasupathi, N.G. Sakthivel, and District Council Chairman Deenadayalan were present.

Participating in the meeting, the party’s District Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP, C.V. Shanmugam, said: “The Chief Minister has done nothing in Tamil Nadu in the last five years, and now, after leaving power, he is announcing various schemes that come to his mind every day.”

However, no funds have been allocated for these projects. Shanmugam said that all the projects started during the AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu and stalled by the current DMK government will be re-implemented after the AIADMK government is formed.

Union secretaries Suresh Babu, Murugan, Eslam Panneer, State Jayalalithaa Council deputy secretary Shankar, district joint secretary Raghunathan, city council member Radhika Senthil, city student union secretary Kugan and others attended the meeting.
