Punjab: Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion and Energy Sanjeev Arora has said that the state government will soon come out with a private industrial park policy. “The state government is finalising a private industrial park policy, which is currently in the drafting stage, with an aim to boost industrial development and enhance ease of doing business,” the minister said. “The Industrial Park Policy will provide a robust framework to support industrial expansion by providing state-of-the-art infrastructure and comprehensive facilities within the designated industrial parks,” Arora said.
He emphasised that these parks will streamline business operations, attract investments and create a conducive environment for industries, especially those in the “red categories”, to flourish. He said 684 applications were settled within the stipulated time on the newly launched FastTrack Punjab portal. The minister informed that 747 out of 1,431 applications were under review.
