Raipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the book ‘Halbi Balbodhini’ on the occasion of Republic Day. Under the National New Education Policy 2020 and National Curriculum Framework 2022, arrangements have been made to provide education to children aged three to eight years in mother tongue, home language and regional language. Children in tribal dominated areas of India face difficulty in studies. The language teaching book ‘Halbi Balbodhini’ has been prepared keeping in mind the cognitive level and common spoken language of the children.
Halbi Balbodhini includes the alphabet, barakhadi, counting through pictures and poems along with words in English. This book will be provided by the Government of India to the state governments of Halba tribal area especially Chhattisgarh along with Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa and Assam for the new academic session 2024-25.
Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, Professor Shailendra Mohan, Director of the Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore and Program Co-ordinator of the Eastern Regional Language Center, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Vinay Patnaik, Education Expert and Chief Advisor of the National Education Policy 2020, under the guidance of the Government of India, in the local language in Halbi. Creation of language teaching book Halbi Balbodhini for sound introduction, alphabet introduction, reading and writing practice to children through songs, poems, stories, conversations and pictures through alphabets and words.
