Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the DMK of obstructing central government schemes.

Tamil Nadu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the DMK government of blocking the implementation of some central government schemes in Tamil Nadu.
As election campaigning intensifies in Tamil Nadu, public rallies will be held in Kanyakumari on Wednesday (April 15) and Coimbatore on Saturday (April 18) in support of National Democratic Alliance candidates, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi held a video conference with BJP booth committee members from Delhi on Monday.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal, senior BJP leader and Mylapore constituency candidate Tamilisai Soundararajan, and others attended the event in Mylapore, Chennai. Prime Minister Modi interacted with five booth committee members from Tamil Nadu at the event.
He then said: When the DMK was part of the Congress government at the center, it did not bring any projects to Tamil Nadu. They did not address the people’s problems. For example, the Congress government ignored the Pamban Bridge. However, a vertical suspension bridge was built in Pamban during the BJP government. The BJP government has authorized the opening of 11 new medical colleges in Tamil Nadu and doubled the number of seats for medical courses. Such achievements of the central government should be highlighted during the election campaign. The public should be made aware of the difference between the Congress rule and the BJP rule.
Scheme disruptions: The central government is implementing numerous schemes for farmers, small businesses, and the poor. In particular, schemes like Mudra are directly benefiting the people.
