Raipur. Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan will start soon across the country. Under the campaign, infrastructure development, economic empowerment, healthy life and access to quality education will be ensured in tribal dominated villages. Regarding the implementation of the campaign, Additional Secretary of Tribal Affairs Ministry, Government of India, R. Jaya gave necessary guidelines through video conferencing on Wednesday. Collectors from districts across the country were connected in this video conferencing.
Balodabazar Collector Deepak Soni said that 46 tribal dominated villages of the district have been selected under Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan (PM Juga). This includes the maximum 21 villages of development block Kasdol. Along with this, 10 villages of development block Balodabazar, 13 villages of development block Bhatapara and 2 villages of Simga are included. He said that under the campaign, 100% implementation of departmental schemes in the selected villages has to be ensured and brought to the advanced category.
For implementation, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Water Resources Department, CS PDCL, CREDA, Health Department, Food Department, Women and Child Development Department, Education Department, AYUSH Department, Telecommunication Department, Skill Development, Information Technology, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Tourism and Primitive Tribe and Scheduled Caste Development Department are involved. Under the campaign, emphasis will be laid on access to better health and quality education along with infrastructure development in the selected villages.
