New Delhi: There is a lot of politics going on over the decision of the UP and Uttarakhand government to put nameplates on the shops on the Kanwar Yatra route. Meanwhile, Yoga Guru Ramdev has supported this decision of the BJP government. Ramdev said that everyone should be proud of his name. He said, if Ramdev has no objection to revealing his identity, then what is the problem with Rehman?
Ramdev said on Sunday, everyone should be proud of their name. There is no need to hide your name. There is just a need to bring purity in your work. If our work is clean then it does not matter whether we are Hindu or Muslim. Let us tell you that after the order of Uttarakhand and UP government, now Ujjain Municipal Corporation has also asked the shopkeepers to put their nameplates. Ujjain Mayor Mukesh Tatwal said that a fine of Rs 2 thousand will be imposed on the violator of the rules. If still someone does not follow the rules, then a fine of 5 thousand rupees will be imposed.
He said, Ujjain is a religious city and devotees come here from far and wide. They should know from which shopkeeper they are taking service. If any customer is cheated, then he should know about that shopkeeper so that he can complain. The opposition is protesting against this decision. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that political parties are trying to divide the country and spread hatred towards Muslims.
CPI (M) leader Brinda Karat has also targeted the Yogi government. She said, the UP government is working against the Constitution. In such a situation, an entire community is being oppressed. They are trying to divide the society. Nazis in Germany used to do similar work. I condemn it. Meanwhile, BJP chief Sukanto Majumdar in West Bengal said that such notifications were issued during the Mulayam and Akhilesh governments.
