Police tightens noose on absconding warrants, 6 miscreants sent to jail

Raigarh. Raigarh police’s strict campaign to maintain law and order under the model code of conduct implemented in view of urban body and three-tier panchayat elections is going on. In this sequence, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel, a special campaign was launched to nab absconding warrants under the leadership of Pusaur police station in-charge inspector Rohit Banjare. The police team raided different places and arrested 3 permanent and 3 arrest warrants, who were produced in the court and sent to jail.

After verification, raids were conducted at their houses. In this action, permanent warrants Devendra Nishad (28) resident of Chhapora, Bhogi Lal Yadav (52) resident of Basanpali and Jeevardhan Yadav resident of Kotasur were arrested. At the same time, arrest warrants Bhagirathi Patel alias Sunil (35), Gulab Ram Chauhan (52) and Devanand Gupta (23) were also taken into custody.

In this campaign, under the leadership of Inspector Rohit Banjare, Sub Inspector Kundan Lal Gaur, Assistant Sub Inspector Umashankar Vishwal, Umashankar Nayak, Head Constable Amit Tirkey, Yogesh Upadhyay, Dol Narayan Saw, Constable Dhanurjay Chand Behera, Dinesh Gond, Oceanik Vishwal, Thanda Ram Gupta, Anoop Saw and Tariq Anwar were involved. Pusaur Police has made it clear that strict action will continue against those who break the law and order.
