Bhind: In Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh, a hotel manager had to pay a heavy price for giving advice to a guest about clothes. The female guest got angry at his advice and complained to the police against the manager for misbehavior. The police have registered a case against him under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code. The accused manager is also a district BJP official. A woman from Delhi has filed a complaint against him, which the police is investigating.
The manager advised the female guest who had reached the hotel, saying, ‘Dress properly, because this is Bhind.’ The advice was given because the woman was wearing ‘short clothes’. The angry Delhi resident woman lodged a complaint with the police, in which she accused him of misbehavior. After which a case was registered against the manager Mukesh Jain, who is a district BJP official.
The woman has come to Bhind to take the LLM exam. She told the police that on Wednesday evening she was sitting near the reception and working as there was no Wi-Fi in her room. The receptionist requested her to go back to her room or come wearing ‘proper clothes’. Hearing this, she got angry and called Jain, following which a heated argument ensued, police said.
The police arrived at the spot and a woman constable was called in to handle the situation. Hotel owner Anita Chopra also arrived at the spot. The manager apologised to the guests and everyone was taken to the police station, where she lodged an FIR against Jain. Chopra claimed that it was a false allegation. She argued that the woman was only asked to wear ‘proper clothes’ as she was wearing short clothes. Jain told local media that he only told her, ‘Madam, this is Bhind.’ Police are investigating the matter. The woman has moved to another hotel.
