. Police is taking strict action against those who run illegal liquor, gambling and betting. In this connection, the Nagari Police team arrested four bookies at four different places along with Satta Patti and writing Satta. dhamtari
(01) Case No. – 70/24
Accused – Rizwan Khan father Riyaz Khan age 25 years resident Ward No. 12 Churiyara Para near Masjid Nagari
Satta was being played at a public place near Daily Market Nagari from whom
Seized material -: One piece Satta Patti, one piece dot pen, cash amount of 3700/- and old used Vivo company blue color mobile worth Rs. 5000/-, total amount of Rs. 8700/- was seized and crime was registered and legal action was taken.
(02)-Case No. – 71/24
Accused- Rajkumar Sen father Firanta Sen age 57 years resident Ricemill Para Ward No. 08 Nagari was playing betting in a public place near Nagari on the road turn going towards Bandhapara Chhipl.
Material seized-: One piece of betting slip, one piece of dot pen, cash amount 610/- and one piece of keypad mobile of white color Itel company worth Rs. 1200/-, total amount Rs. 1810/- were seized.
Crime was registered and legal action was taken.
(03)- Crime No. – 72/24
Accused- Mohammad Hakim father Tar Mohammad age 50 years resident of Bandhapara Nagari was playing betting near Nagari on the road turn leading to Bandhapara Chhipli in a public place.
Material seized- one piece of betting slip, one piece of dot pen, cash amount 7500/- and old used Samsung mobile worth 4000/- rupees, total amount 11500/- rupees
After seizing, crime was registered and legal action was taken.
( 04) Crime No. -73/24
Accused- Khemchand Patel father late Kashiram Patel age 60 years resident ward number 04 Nagari was playing satta in the public place of daily market Nagari from whom
Material seized- one piece satta patti one piece dot pen cash amount 690/- and old used Redmi model 9A blue color mobile worth 5000/- rupees total amount 5690/- rupees were seized and crime was registered and legal action was taken.
From the four bookies -: Rs. 3700/- in cash from one bookie, Rs. 610/- from the second bookie, Rs. 7500/- from the third bookie and Rs. 690/- from the fourth bookie, total Rs. 12500/- and 04 mobile phones worth Rs. 15200/-, total Rs. 27700/-, 04 pieces of satta slips and 04 pieces of writing material were seized. A crime has been registered against the four accused in Nagari police station under crime numbers 70,71,72,73/24 and due action has been taken under Chhattisgarh Gambling Prohibition Act 2022 Section 06 (a) Gambling Act.
