Police initiative started regarding the safety of doctors and medical staff

Raigarh. Raigarh Police has taken important steps to ensure the safety of doctors and medical staff. Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Shri Divyang Kumar Patel, the security arrangements of government and private hospitals located in all police station areas are being reviewed and security related instructions are being given to the working medical staff and security personnel. In this direction, Inspector in-charge of Chakradharnagar police station Prashant Rao Aher held an important meeting with the security guards of the medical college today. In this meeting, the security guards were instructed to do their duty vigilantly, especially to be especially vigilant for female doctors, nursing staff and women personnel posted in the hostel.

The police station in-charge clarified that entry of outsiders towards the hostel, doctors colony will be completely prohibited. He instructed the staff posted at all the major places of the medical college like gate, OPD, casualty, medicine and surgical ward to be completely vigilant in their duty. At present, a total of 115 security guards are deployed in the medical college, who have been entrusted with the responsibility of security. In the same sequence, Inspector-in-charge of Kotwali police station Sukhnandan Patel inspected the security arrangements of the district hospital and gave special instructions regarding security to the deployed Nagar Sainiks. Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Shri Divyang Kumar Patel, the security arrangements of private hospitals located in all police station areas are being reviewed by the station in-charges.

The police initiative is an important step towards giving priority to the safety of doctors and medical personnel. This will not only strengthen the security system in medical institutions, but will also provide a safe environment to the patients and their families.
