Gorakhpur. An encounter has taken place once again in UP. On Tuesday morning, the police caught an accused in the Vishal Singh murder case after he was shot in an encounter. This miscreant, a resident of Gorakhpur, has been shot in the leg. He is undergoing treatment at Maharishi Devraha Baba Medical College, Deoria.
The name of the arrested accused is Mohammad Raja Khan. According to the police, he had killed Vishal Singh along with his accomplices. Let us tell you that Vishal Singh was continuously agitating for the arrest of the accused in the Nehal Singh murder case that took place in Deoria recently. He was also in constant touch with Nehal Singh’s family along with participating in the demonstrations organized by Karni Sena Bharat on this issue. After the murder of Vishal Singh, on Monday itself, Karni Sena Bharat’s president Veer Pratap Singh Veeru reached Holi Ballia village of Ekouna police station area of Deoria and met Vishal Singh’s family members. He had given a two-day ultimatum to the police. During this time, he had said that the police should shoot the killers in the head and not in the leg.
Vineet Singh’s son Vishal Singh (age 22) of Holi Ballia village of Ekouna police station area of Deoria district was a B.Com second year student in Dwigvijaynath PG College of Gorakhpur. He was called from home at around 9 pm on Saturday night and stabbed to death. After this murder, pressure on the police had increased. The police was searching for the criminals in the case. On Tuesday morning at around 4 am, near Baghra bridge of Ekouna police station area, the police had an encounter with the main accused Mohammad Raza Khan, a resident of Ghosipurva locality of Shahpur police station area of Gorakhpur. He was injured after being shot in the leg. He is undergoing treatment in the medical college. During police interrogation, he told that he, along with his companions, had killed Vishal Singh.
