Police caught animal smugglers, made a big disclosure in the case

Khairagarh. Police foiled a big conspiracy of animal smugglers in the district in time. The smugglers tried their best to mislead the police by making fake documents, but the vigilance and intelligence of the police foiled their trick. Police have arrested 4 accused in the case. Let us tell you that the whole matter started on 23 December 2024, when Khairagarh police received information that cattle were being illegally transported to slaughterhouses in Maharashtra in a pickup vehicle (MP 50 JE 2208). Police planned to stop the truck near Pandadah. When the truck was searched, the police was also shocked to see the scene there. Three cattle were stuffed in the truck tied with ropes. Neither were they given feed and water nor were they being taken care of.

A minor child was also present in the truck. Taking advantage of the opportunity, truck driver Dinesh Chaudhary escaped in the dark. The police seized the truck and registered a case against the accused. After this, on January 12, 2025, four people reached Khairagarh police station. They had some documents, on the basis of which they claimed that all the papers of the truck and the cattle were correct. But the police became suspicious of them. When these documents were examined, they turned out to be completely fake. After this, the police strictly interrogated the four.

The interrogation revealed that this whole game is of the absconding accused Dinesh Chaudhary and his partner Monu Qureshi. Both of them had included these four in the conspiracy to prepare fake papers and mislead the police. Out of the four, Zaheer Khan called himself the owner of the truck, while Ajay Nagvanshi claimed to be the owner of the cattle. But all their cunning failed in front of the police. Finally the police have arrested all four.
