This morning, a team of outpost Kharsia police led by outpost in-charge Kharsia sub-inspector Sanjay Nag conducted a raid this morning on the information of Ravi Bharti, resident of village Telikot, making and selling illegal Mahua liquor behind his house. Ravi Bharti was caught by the police on the spot while making liquor.

Accused Ravi Bharti, father late Raju Bharti, aged 30 years, resident of Telikot Kharsia, in possession of 09 liters of prepared Mahua liquor worth ₹ 900 and 02 pieces of aluminum vessel (dechki) with pipe fitted, worth about ₹ 3000 and 01 aluminum vessel (dechki) worth about ₹ 1000. Has been confiscated.
After seizing 09 liters of illicit liquor and vessels for making liquor worth ₹ 4,900 from the accused, action has been taken against accused Ravi Bharti under Section 34(2), 59(a) of the Excise Act at Police Station Kharsia (Police Station Kharsia). .
