PM will hold a road show in Hyderabad today

Hyderabad: In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a road show from Mirzalguda to Malkajgiri on Friday. The 1.3 km long road show is expected to start from Sai Baba Temple in Mirzalaguda after 5 pm and end at Malkajgiri X Roads. Modi will hold a public meeting in Nagarkurnool and a rally in Jagtial on Saturday and Monday respectively.

The Prime Minister’s visit follows Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent target of securing more than 12 MP seats from Telangana.
Malkajgiri constituency, the largest in the country by number of voters, has been the subject of controversy with several top leaders competing for the high-profile ticket. The ticket was allotted to former minister Eatala Rajender, who joined the saffron camp from BRS in 2021.
During his visit to the state on March 5, Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth over Rs 7,200 crore. Addressing a public meeting in Sangareddy, he alleged that dynastic parties are the enemies of youth and talent. Modi alleged that Congress and BRS were two sides of the same coin and were “covering fire” for each other. However, this will not last long as “BJP knows how to carry out surgical strikes as well as air strikes”, he said.
