Lucknow: Before the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is targeting Western UP. PM Modi has a rally in Saharanpur on Saturday. After this, there will be a road show in Ghaziabad in the evening. Meerut is between the two, where he has already made an election noise. Meerut division has five Lok Sabha seats — Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr. Saharanpur division has three — Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Kairana. In 2019, the BJP had won all the seats in Meerut division, while it lost one Saharanpur seat in Saharanpur division. In 2014, BJP had made a clean sweep in both the divisions. Tight security arrangements have been made for the Prime Minister’s rally in Saharanpur. The BJP camp claims that a large crowd will gather in the rally. Through the rally, the Prime Minister will try to woo the voters of Kairana Lok Sabha constituency along with Saharanpur. Since Saharanpur Lok Sabha seat has Muslim majority, there will be special focus on Muslim voters here. This is the second election rally of the Prime Minister in Western UP. On March 31, the Prime Minister started the election rally from Meerut. The Prime Minister has already visited Saharanpur four times in the last Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. BJP regional president Satendra Sisodia said that this rally will be historic. There is uneasiness in the opposition regarding this also. The public has come to know his truth. The message will go to the entire country from the land of Maa Shakambhari Devi and Maa Bala Sundari.
