Other projects dedicated to the nation include the solar power plant at Kavaratti, which is Lakshadweep’s first battery-supported solar power project. The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the renovation of the health care facility at Kalpeni and construction of five model Anganwadi Centers (Nand Ghars) in the five islands of Androth, Chetlat, Kadmat, Agatti and Minicoy.
