PM Modi to visit Jharsuguda in Odisha instead of Ganjam on Sept 27, confirms state BJP President

Jharsuguda: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit Odisha on September 27. PM Modi will be visiting Jharsuguda for the second time. He was to scheduled to visit Berhampur in Ganjam district but his visit had to be cancelled due to bad weather.

As a diversion, Prime Minister will now visit Amalipali in Jharsuguda instead of Ganjam. His Ganjam visit had to be diverted due to double low pressure in the Bay of Bengal.

Now the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit to Amlipali are in full swing. Northern range IG Himanshu Lal, Northern range RDC along with other officials have visited the program site. PWD Chief Engineer is present at the program site and is supervising the work. However, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) is yet to send a letter.

The state BJP president, Manmohan Samal had informed yesterday that the program to be held in Ganjam has been cancelled and the program will be held at Amlipali in Jharsuguda on September 27.

The stage work has started at the site of the programme today. Officials from the construction department are supervising the stage work.
