A horrific accident has taken place in Balasore, Odisha after three trains collided, in which 280 people have died so far while more than 900 people are said to be injured. On the Balasore accident, Congress President and former Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge said, ‘…I request political parties to come forward and help. I express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. I have to ask many questions to the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister, but now is the time for relief and rescue.RJD Chief and former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has said on the Balasore train accident that the way he showed negligence and did not show vigilance, resulted in such a large number of casualties. There should be a high-level inquiry into it and action should be taken against those responsible for it. It was very careless, they destroyed the railway.
After the Balasore accident, British PM Rishi Sunak has expressed grief over the accident. He said that my feelings are towards PM Narendra Modi and the families of the victims of the Odisha accident. My condolences to the bereaved families.
