Bilaspur. A big case of fraud has come up in the judicial capital. The accused, posing as a crime branch officer, handed over a cheque of Rs 55 lakh to the petrol pump operator, which later bounced. After receiving the complaint of the case, the Civil Line Police has started investigating.
According to the information, the accused Rajendra alias Abhiraj Singh got fuel filled from Jio Petrol Pump located at Jarhabhatha Chowk from November 2024 to March 2025. After this, the accused youth handed over a cheque in the name of payment, which bounced.
