Mahasamund: Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh reviewed the better implementation of various departmental schemes and programs by holding a time limit meeting from 10 am today. He gave necessary instructions to the officers of the concerned department for redressal of Chief Minister Jandarshan, Collector Jan Chaupal, Public Grievance and other received letters. He also gave instructions to resolve the applications received under the Public Service Guarantee Act within the time limit. District officials including Additional Collector Ravi Kumar Sahu, SDM Umesh Sahu and Deputy Collector Ashish Karma were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Collector Langeh took departmental information from the officials regarding the Governor’s visit on August 30 and gave instructions for necessary preparations. In the meeting, he told that on August 30, the Governor of the state Raman Deka will be on a visit to Mahasamund district. Collector Langeh said in the meeting that keep special vigil on the gathering of cattle on the roads and keep taking action on a regular basis. Penalty should be imposed on animal owners if animals come on the road repeatedly. He has given instructions to the Chief Executive Officers of all the districts and the Chief Municipal Officers of the urban bodies. The Collector has given instructions to submit the evaluation report of the repair work done in the schools under the Chief Minister School Jatan Yojana. He said that all the agencies which have done the work should get the evaluation done by the appointed third party and submit the report and complete the remaining works. Similarly, instructions have been given to complete the pending and incomplete works of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana soon. Instructions were given to register the approved works which have not been registered. The Collector has given instructions to give information about the progress of PM Awas every week. Instructions have also been given to speed up the work of Kharif crop Girdawari. He said that before the deadline, the team of Revenue and Agriculture Department should reach the fields and complete the work of actual Girdawari and also ensure its online entry.
Collector Langeh said in the meeting that under the Drug De-addiction Campaign, the action of regular inspection of the carts and shops around every school and educational institutions should continue. Food and Drugs Officer was instructed to ban and take action against banned drugs or other popular medicines which are used as intoxicants. Collector said that the register for travellers should be updated in the Gram Panchayats and urban bodies and information should be given to the police station by conducting a door-to-door survey. He said that many travellers are staying for a long time without giving any information, their information should be recorded in the traveller register. In the meeting, he said that there is a possibility of spread of diarrhoea, vomiting, diarrhoea and other seasonal infectious diseases in the rainy season, for which the health department should make prior preparations. Organise camps in the village only after getting preliminary information. He has also instructed the PHE department to clean and chlorinate water tanks.
Collector said that under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana, benefit them by organising scheduled camps, this is an ambitious scheme of the government. Langeh said that at present farming is in full swing, so ensure necessary storage and availability of fertilizers so that farmers do not face any kind of problem. The collector said that similarly all the Patwaris should update the encroachment register in the villages. So that necessary action can be taken on illegal encroachment. He has also instructed all the sub-divisional officers to take action on vehicle mount DJ.
It was informed in the meeting that the district level public problem resolution camp will now be organized on 31 August at its pre-determined venue, village Baloda of Saraipali development block. Earlier this camp was to be organized on 30 August. Which has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons and will be organized on Saturday, 31 August.
