In Poorvarti, the home village of Naxal commander Hidma, voters not only cast their votes fearlessly, but also applied indelible ink on their fingers. Actually, Poorvarti village is a dependent village of Chimlipenta. There are about 80 to 90 voters here. Till a year ago, this village was under the control of Naxalites. But now the security forces have set up camp in this village. As soon as the camp of the force opened, Aadhar cards of the villagers were made, voter ID cards were made. After which for the first time the voters here are voting to elect the sarpanch.
Voting is being conducted in this village under a security cover. The area is the area of the most dangerous PLGA battalion number 1 of the Naxalites. Therefore, hundreds of soldiers have been deployed here. The villagers said that they are voting for the first time. They are happy to vote.
