Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan has decided to make Pithapuram the center of his party’s statewide election campaign.
In this regard, he held a meeting with party leaders on Friday. Pithapuram is the constituency from where Pawan Kalyan himself is contesting.
Party leaders expressed happiness and said, “Pithapuram is a holy land, a Shaktipeeth. It is auspicious for the JS chief to start his campaign from Pithapuram.
Pawan Kalyan will stay in Pithapuram constituency for three days. He will hold meetings with important party leaders of the constituency.
The JS chief will perform a special puja for Goddess Puruhuthika before launching the statewide campaign on his Varahi vehicle. He directed the party’s central office groups to make arrangements accordingly.
Pawan Kalyan also met the Joint East Godavari District Presidents, Election Travel Management Team Convenors, Co-Convenors and members of the Joint East Godavari District.
He told him that YSRC was planning to target Pithapuram as he was contesting from there. He asked the party ranks to remain alert at every stage.
The JS president said, “The current elections are going to decide the future of Andhra Pradesh. Victory is ours, so fight for it.”
He asked the coordinators of election travel management to be fully aware of the rules and regulations of the Election Commission of India while planning the campaign.
