Rajnandgaon;. Staff nurses working in Rajnandgaon Medical College Hospital have gone on strike on Monday. Angered by the lack of new recruitment, these nurses stopped providing service. Actually, a total of 72 staff nurses are working in the Medical College Hospital. Of these, about 50 nurses are doing duty. Medical College senior Dr. Munna Mahobe says that the process of recruitment of staff nurses is going on in the Medical College Hospital.
But it is taking some time as the hospital superintendent is on leave. Here, due to the movement of nurses, other medical work including patients admitted in the hospital is being affected. They say that the work is being affected due to non-recruitment of new staff. The management is also helpless after not getting any instructions from the state government on new recruitments in the Medical College, due to which the work pressure on the staff nurses is increasing. That’s why the staff nurses have stopped work and started agitation demanding recruitment of nurses in the hospital.
