This is not the first time that there is a jam at Keshkal Ghat. Even before this, people have been facing huge problems due to jam on the valley many times. The road built during the British rule has now become dilapidated and there is a constant demand for its renovation.
Congressmen were preparing for a movement from September 24 regarding the continuous jam, meanwhile the collector took stock of the situation a day before the road renovation. Due to the road renovation work starting from today, police personnel are engaged in clearing the jam since last night.
