Srinagar: In a major success to the Indian Army, the Pahalgam Mastermind Suleiman Shah aka Hashim Moosa was killed in Operation Mahadev at Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir today.
Reports further added that two other terrorists involved in the Pahalgam terror attack were also killed. They have been identified as Abu Hamza and Yasir. It is believed that Suleiman Shah aka Hashim Moosa was a former member of the Pakistani army.
It is further worth mentioning here that, the Jammu and Kashmir Police had announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for information about Suleiman.
Security Forces have neutralized three terrorists in an anti-terror operation in the Harwan area of Srinagar district in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
On the anti-terror Operation Mahadev in general area of Lidwas, Chinar Corps of Indian Army said, “Three terrorists have been neutralised in an intense firefight. Operation Continues.”

The Chinar Corps provided this information on their official X handle. The post read as follows, “Contact established in General Area Lidwas. Operation in progress.”
Recently on July 20, an encounter had broken out between security forces and terrorists in the Dachhan area of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, informed the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
