Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, today extended the last date of receipt of online application for Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2025.
According to Odisha BSE, the online application deadline for OSSTET 2025, which was slated to conclude today, has been extended upto midnight of December 20.
“As per notification No-2909 dtd-05-12-2025, the last date of receipt of online application for Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET)-2025 was 17.12.2025. Considering the request of candidates across the state, the date of receipt of application for OSSTET-2025 is extended upto 20.12.2025 midnight. No further extension will be allowed,” read the notification issued by the BSE, Odisha.
As per the schedule announced by the board, the OSSTET 2025 will be held on January 20, 2026 in two sittings. While the first sitting for Paper-I will be held between 9 AM and 11.30 AM, the exam for Paper-II will be held from 2 PM TO 4.30 PM.
The candidates can download their admit cards from January 10, 2026 by logging into the official portal. They can regularly check the official website for further updates regarding the exam.
It is to be noted here that the BSE, Odisha, conducts the OSSTET for aspiring secondary school teachers, ensuring they meet eligibility criteria for teaching various subjects of Arts, Science, Hindi, Classical and Physical Education.
