Mumbai (IANS) | Filmmaker Kartiki Gonsalves, who won an Oscar for India with his short documentary ‘The Elephant Whispers’, is not really looking forward to venturing into commercial entertainment. Talking to the media on Thursday, the Oscar-winning filmmaker said, “I am not really looking forward to getting into big commercial films. I love working for documentaries.”
She added, “I’m a natural history photographer and I think that’s where I flourish and do my best work. I don’t know, though, that when it comes to a big film, that’s where I’m going to be.” As for what the future holds, for the moment I would like to stick to documentaries only.”
