Mahasamund. On the occasion of completion of one year of the state government and under the Good Governance Week, a huge farmers’ conference was organized in the local Ambedkar Bhawan today. Mahasamund MLA Yogeshwar Raju Sinha participated in the conference as the president. On this occasion, Red Cross Society President Sandeep Diwan, former Municipal Council President Pawan Patel, former member of the State Youth Commission Prashant Srivastava, Prakash Sharma, Munna Sahu, Collector Vinay Langeh, Additional Collector Ravi Raj Thakur, Sub-Divisional Officer Harishankar Pankra, Chairman of Cooperative Societies and a large number of farmers of the area were present. On this occasion, stalls of Health, Women and Child Development, Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry Department were set up and Vishnu Ki Pati was distributed and read to the farmers. In the conference, MLA Yogeshwar Raju Sinha said that former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee gave us the gift of Chhattisgarh state, but development could not take place in the first 3 years. After that, the then Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh worked to improve the state. The state is moving ahead on the path of development today. The foundation of the new capital was also laid during that time, which people from other states come to see. The state progressed a lot till 2018. After that, the pace of development in the state slowed down for 5 years. Now again the government of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai is working to develop the state. Now our state has turned 24 years old. Whatever promises were made to the farmers, they are being fulfilled. Paddy is being purchased at 21 quintals and 31 hundred per acre. Women are getting one thousand rupees per month from Mahtari Vandan. This is a great achievement. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, we will all build a developed Chhattisgarh. In 2047, the whole world will build a developed India. He also appealed to the farmer friends to take advantage of all the schemes. He said that the government and administration together will play an important role in the development of Mahasamund district state. Efforts are on to bring water from Shikaser. This will benefit the farmers of Mahasamund and Khallari assembly constituencies. We are constantly trying to make the area developed. The work of Peedhi reservoir will also be completed in Sirpur area. He congratulated the farmers on completion of one year. On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu’s letter was read out. Red Cross Society President Sandeep Diwan said that Good Governance Week is being organized on the occasion of completion of one year of government formation. Our government is continuously working for the benefit of farmers. Everyone’s problems are being resolved. He told the government’s achievement with various figures. He said that by the coming year 2047, we will make a developed India and developed Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, farmers were honored with shawl and coconut. On this occasion, Collector Vinay Langeh said that the administration is working for the farmers as per the government’s intention. Paddy procurement is going on smoothly in the district. He told that as per the Chief Minister’s intention, 4 lakh metric tons of paddy has been procured so far. So far 90 thousand farmers have sold paddy. Apart from this, farmers are also getting benefited under the Prime Minister Samman Nidhi. Farmers have also been made aware about soil testing. He informed that various programmes like public meetings and camps are being organised in the district under the Good Governance Week. Saplings were distributed to farmers under the name of Ek Ped Maa.
