Tirupati: The annual Brahmotsavam at Tiruchanur should be organised on the same lines as Tirumala Brahmotsavam, TTD EO J Shyamala Rao directed officials of various departments. He held a review meeting of Navahnika Karthika Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru to be held from November 28 to December 6 at the Administrative Building in Tirupati on Thursday. Under this, the EO directed the concerned officials to take precautions regarding cleanliness in coordination with the local panchayat officials. On the medical front, he said that first aid centres, ambulances with necessary staff should be kept ready. CCTV cameras should be installed at various important places in coordination with the local police as a security measure. The EO asked to take steps to ensure uninterrupted supply of Anna Prasadam to all the devotees. Emphasising on quality in cultural programmes, he suggested inviting unique dance and bhajan troupes. Regarding engineering works, he directed the officials to complete the work of whitewashing, painting, flexi boards and arches, aarti sthal, barricades at important places on time. He also directed the garden branch to make the flower show and electric lights attractive. JEO Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sridhar, FACAO Balaji, CE Satyanarayana, Deputy EO PAT Govindarajan and other officials were present on the occasion.
