OPS supporter MP Dharmar has rejoined the AIADMK.

Tamil Nadu: MP Dharmar, a supporter of O. Panneerselvam, has rejoined the AIADMK.

He rejoined the party at the AIADMK headquarters in Royapettah, Chennai, in the presence of party General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami.

O. Panneerselvam, who had parted ways with Edappadi Palaniswami due to ideological differences, is currently operating independently through an organization called the AIADMK Volunteers Rights Recovery Association.

With the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu just a few months away, several OPS supporters are switching to other parties.

Earlier, OPS supporters Manoj Pandian, Marudhu Azhaguraj, former MLA Subburathinam, and Vaithilingam joined the DMK, and JTC Prabhakar Thavega also joined the party.

Now, following them, another supporter, MP Dharmar, has left the OPS camp. Dharmar was elected as a Rajya Sabha MP from the AIADMK in 2022.

It is noteworthy that Dharmar remained active with O. Panneerselvam even after being expelled from the AIADMK.
