Oppo has confirmed that the new Reno 15 series will make it’s India debut soon, The company has also announced that the series will include a mini version, which will be the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini. However, the exact date of the launch is yet to be revealed.
The upcoming Reno 15 series will comprise of three models, which is the basic Oppo Reno 15, Oppo Reno 156 Pro and the recently confirmed Reno 15 Pro Mini. Ahead of the launch of the series, e-commerce platform Flipkart has opened a dedicated microsite for the lineup.
The upcoming Oppo smartphone series have been designed with the HoloFusion Technology.
The Oppo Reno 15 will be offered in the country in Glacier White, Twilight Blue, and Aurora Blue colourways.
Oppo Reno 15 Series specifications
All three devices under the Oppo Reno 15 Series will feature a 120Hz display with Full HD+ resolution. The Reno 15 model display will support up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness while the other two will deliver up to 3,600 nits of peak brightnes.
The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini will feature a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, a 93.35 percent screen-to-body ratio and surrounded by 1.6mm thick bezels. It will have a weight of 187g and thickness of about 7.99mm.
The company has also revealed that the Oppo Reno Pro will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, with 1.15mm thick bezels, a 95.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The Reno 15 Pro will be 7.65mm in thickness, while weighing about 205g.
The standard Oppo Reno 15 will ship with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame, too. The entire lineup is claimed to launch with IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Its USB Type-C port will ship with a platinum coating for corrosion resistance. Meanwhile, the Reno 15 will feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 93.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Reno 15 model will measure up to 7.89mm in thickness, depending on the colourway, and weigh about 197g.
