New Delhi (IANS) | OpenEye, the developer of the Microsoft-backed ChatGPT, has introduced 10 prizes (one million dollars each). It is being seen as an attempt to adopt a democratic process to promote Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). The company says that through this initiative, information has to be gathered about the ways in which Artificial Intelligence (AI) works, so that bad experiences of AI work can be known.
The company said in an official statement released on Thursday that at present the initial experiments do not mean that we are in a hurry to reach any conclusion. We want to come up with such a tool by which decisions can be taken in the coming times by adding democratic values.
The last date to participate in the OpenEye Grant is June 24. In this, the selected people will have to publish a public report by 20 October. Apart from this, a prototype will also have to be made, in which there will be feedback from at least 500 people. The reactions of those people will also have to be included in the public report.
According to OpenEye, “Our primary objective is to promote innovation. We also need to improve the way AI works. This will happen only when AI’s behavior is changed based on feedback from people of different views.” We want AI to help all of humanity.”
Sam Altman’s OpenEye announced $175 million in funding for other AI startups, according to a recently published report. It also includes capital from Microsoft and other investors. Explain that OpenEye has already been investing in AI startups. According to the report, OpenEye has recently sold $ 27 to 29 billion worth of shares ($ 300 million).
