Open gym and plants will be installed at a cost of Rs 38 lakh.

Faridabad: A wonderful and big good news related to health, environment and basic facilities has come to the fore for the residents of Faridabad city of Haryana. A new and ambitious project has been launched to promote development and greenery in Ward No. 5, which falls under the NIT assembly constituency of the city. Under this special project, 500 new saplings will be planted in the entire area at a total cost of Rs 38 lakh and a modern open gym will also be established to maintain the health of the local people. This magnificent development work was formally inaugurated on Sunday by regional MLA Satish Fagna by formally planting saplings in the park located in Sector-52. After this new gift, a huge enthusiasm and atmosphere of excitement is being seen among the local residents of the area and the people who regularly visit the parks. The main objective of this project, started by MLA Satish Fagna, is to increase the greenery cover in the urban areas of Faridabad and to provide better fitness facilities to the local citizens near their homes. Under this project, not only open gym or trees are being planted, but special care is also being taken for the convenience of the elderly and the visitors coming to the park. In this series, a very attractive hut (rest house) for sitting is also being built in the park of Sector-52 using beautiful and durable Rajasthani stones. With the construction of this hut, the elderly people and women who come to the park for morning and evening walks will be able to sit there and relax comfortably and talk to each other when they are feeling sunny or tired. This initiative is a big step towards rejuvenating the parks and making them more people-friendly. Giving detailed information about this entire campaign and its outline, former councilor of the area Jaiveer Khatana said that development works are being carried out in a planned manner in Ward No. 5. He said that under the first phase of the project, about 50 shady and fruit trees will be planted within this main park of Sector-52. Immediately after this, all the modern equipment of the open gym will be installed in the same park, so that the youth and the elderly will not have to go far to exercise. Apart from this, while sharing a very important information, the former councilor said that about 450 remaining saplings will be planted along the banks of the famous ‘Gauchhi Drain’ of the area. The main scientific and social objective of dense plantation along the banks of Gauchi drain is to make the entire area green and because of the presence of rows of trees, people should avoid throwing garbage in the open there. This will control pollution and also purify the environment. Let us tell you that this entire campaign is an important part of the ‘Ek Podha Maa Ke Naam’ campaign being run by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on a large scale in the entire Haryana state. Under this statewide environmental protection campaign, all the MLAs and public representatives of the state are actively planting trees in their respective assembly constituencies and are also making the general public aware about it. These works being done with the budget of Rs 38 lakh in NIT Ward-5 of Faridabad have written a new story of development at the local level. Experts and locals believe that this double dose of gym and plants will not only help in making Faridabad pollution free and green, but will also improve the health and standard of living of the coming generations. This grassroots effort of the MLA and former councilor is being highly appreciated all around.
