Delhi Delhi: Ola Electric on Wednesday said it has expanded its network to 4,000 stores across the country, four times its existing network. The company has opened over 3,200 new stores with service facilities. The expansion extends beyond metros and tier I and II cities to smaller towns and tehsils, Ola Electric said in a statement.
Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, Ola Electric, said, “With our new stores opened along with service centres, we have completely redesigned the EV purchase and ownership experience, and set new standards with our #SavingsWalaScooter campaign.”
MoveOS 5 Beta
Along with this development, the company has also opened registrations for its MoveOS 5 beta. Ola says it will enhance the overall ride experience. The feature will feature group navigation, live location sharing, smart charging, smart park and more. Additionally, it will also have a road trip feature that will run on Ola Maps and TPMS alerts.
Ola S1 Pro Sona
Ola Electric recently launched the Ola S1 Pro Sona edition. This limited edition unit features 24-carat gold plated elements. Along with this, the interface of the Ola app has a gold-themed interface and a customized MoveOS dashboard. According to the company, this will allow riders to personalize ride modes and settings.
Ola S1 Z and S1 Z+
The Ola S1 Z and S1 Z+ have been recently launched in India. The Ola S1 Z is the most affordable electric scooter with swappable batteries. It has two 1.5kWh battery packs and its range is said to be 149 km. The top speed of the Ola S1 Z is said to be 70 km/h.
Ola S1 Gig and Gig+
Ola Electric also launched two EV scooters for the commercial segment. It introduced the Ola Gig and Gig+ with swappable batteries. The Gig is an entry-level scooter with a simple design, LED headlights and adequate payload capacity. The company makes it available for B2B purchase and rental.
