Odisha train accident: Railways said none of its employees is missing or absconding

Bhubaneswar (IANS) | The South Eastern Railway (SER) on Tuesday clarified that none of its employees is missing or absconding and all are cooperating with the CBI in the probe into the train accident in Odisha. There are some media reports that an employee is missing/absconding, SER said in a statement. It is clarified that all the employees are part of the CBI and CRS probe. No employee is missing/absconding.

The CBI had sealed the rented house of Junior Engineer (Signal) on Monday as no one was in the house.

At least 292 people were killed in the triple train accident that took place on the evening of June 2.

Meanwhile, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav is scheduled to meet the local people at Bahanaga, who initially launched the rescue operation and saved many lives.
