Odisha: Regional Meteorological Center issues rain alert for next 7 days

Bhubaneswar: Monsoon rain continues in the state of Odisha, while light to moderate rainfall continues in various districts. In the latest bulletin the MeT centre, Bhubaneswar has predicted that rain will continue in different places of the State for the next 7 days.

In the weather forecast, the regional MeT centre informed that lightning and thundershowers are likely at some place. Accordingly, some districts of North Odisha and some coastal districts have been issued with yellow alert for rain.

Besides, the weather forecast also says that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at some places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Bargarh and Sambalpur districts tomorrow, while some districts of North Odisha will receive heavy rainfall with thundershowers, while winds are likely to gust at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph.

The Regional Meteorological Center has clarified that there has been no deficit rainfall in the state.
