Kantamal: In yet another case of illegal sand transport in Boudh district of Odisha, the police has been successful in busting it, said reports on Monday. A total of thirteen tractors have been seized and bought to the Police Station by Bouguni Police. The tractors were reportedly charged of illegal sand transportation near Damburagarh of Boudh district.
As per the information, there was unlawful extraction and transportation of sand from Damburagarh Mahanadi Ghat of Bouguni Revenue Circle. On getting info about the illicit work, Collector J. Sonal and S.P Raj Prasad immediately reached the sight.
After seeing the 13 tractors carrying the sand, orders were given out to detain the vehicles and check the related documents. Bouguni Police has taken all the vehicles into its custody. According to reports, the mission was carried out under the supervision of Collector J. Sonal and S.P Raj Prasad. Bouguni and Boudh Police went ahead with the mission with the help of Tehsildar Muhammad Raj Rashul says report.
