Odisha govt enhances remuneration of Junior Teachers (schematic) in Elementary schools by Rs 4,900, check details
Bhubaneswar: In a welcoming step for the Junior Teacher (Schematic) the Odisha government have decided to enhance the monthly remuneration of the teachers by Rs 4,900.
In a resolution dated February 12, the School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha issued the notification to enhance their remuneration from Rs 11,100 to Rs 16,000.
The resolution read,” Government after careful consideration have been pleased to enhance the monthly remuneration of the Junior Teacher (Schematic)s engaged in Primary and Upper Primary schools under the Samagra Sikshya Scheme from Rs 11,100 to Rs 16,000.”
The revised rate of remuneration will take effect from the date of issue of the resolution. This was done in concurrence with the Finance Department. This resolution will be published in an extra ordinary issue of Odisha Gazette.
On January 17, the proposal was accepted by Odisha CM. Today the resolution was released.
