Observers raiding polling stations

Durg. General Observer Shrikesh Lathkar (IAS), appointed by the Election Commission of India for Parliamentary Constituency No. 07 Durg, on April 24 last, under Assembly Constituency No. 62 Patan, Kumhari, Kukda, Patora, Selud, Thakurain Tola, Akhra, Didabhatha (Ranitrai), Jamgaon. (R) Inspected the polling stations of Adi villages. In which Sangwari polling station, disabled polling station and critical polling station were also included.

He directed the officials to ensure necessary arrangements for polling stations like drinking water, sheds etc. Where there is more than one polling station, instructions have been given to mark the routes leading to the polling booths. Tehsildar Patan, Municipal Officer Kumhari, Supervisor, BLO and Principals of schools were present during the inspection.
