Oath taking ceremony of new cabinet ministers in Karnataka

Bengaluru (IANS) | The swearing-in ceremony of 24 cabinet ministers is underway at the Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot is administering oath to the newly appointed ministers. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his deputy D.K. Shivakumar and Speaker U.T. Khader congratulated the new ministers. Senior Congress leader from Gadag district H.K. Patil took the oath. Besides, Krishna Byre Gowda, representing the Hebbal seat in Bengaluru, and N. Cheluvarayaswamy was also included in the cabinet.

From Mysuru district K. Venkatesh and M.C. Sudhakar from Chikkaballapura district, senior leader Ishwar Khandre from Bidar, Sharanbasappa Darshanpur from Yadgir, Shivanand Patil from Vijayapura district, S.S. Mallikarjuna, Lakshmi Hebbalkar from Belagavi from the Lingayat community and other cabinet ministers are taking oath.
