Rampur: A case of parrot smuggling has come to light in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. After getting the information, the police raided here and recovered 315 parrots which were being smuggled from a car. Along with this, two smugglers have been arrested. The police handed over the parrots to the forest department, after which all the parrots were released in the forest. According to the police, information was received from the informer that some people were coming to Swar for parrot smuggling. Based on this information, Swar police launched a checking campaign. During checking, the police stopped a car and searched it. There were three cages inside the car, which contained 315 parrots. The police immediately seized the cages and arrested Raghuveer and Himanshu, residents of Moradabad, who were traveling in the car. With this the car was seized. After recovering 315 parrots which were being smuggled, the police handed them over to the Forest Department. The Forest Department team has taken all the parrots to the forest and released them. In this case, Additional Superintendent of Police Atul Kumar Srivastava said that during checking, Swar police had stopped a Swift car. 315 parrots were badly packed in three cages in the car. In this case, the police is taking action against both the accused. Information was received that the accused were severely imprisoning the parrots in three cages and taking them somewhere to sell. This entire matter is being investigated.
