During a road accident, the first 30 minutes after the accident is the golden hour for the injured, during this time if the injured person is taken to the hospital in any way or medical facility is provided, then in 90% of the cases the life of the injured can be saved. But in today’s time, most of the people do not take any measures to save the life of the injured person in order to avoid getting into legal trouble, due to which the injured person dies in agony at the spot due to lack of treatment. Keeping this in view, Senior Superintendent of Police District Raipur Santosh Kumar Singh has directed all the police station in-charges of the district to promote Good Samaritans as much as possible to provide immediate assistance to the injured in a road accident occurring in the police station area and to encourage and reward the Good Samaritans who save lives by providing immediate assistance to the injured.
